Interesting. The three I've heard about Iowa aren't listed, though.

EDIT: I've never heard this:

Ames - Iowa State University - Memorial Union Hall - pays tribute to graduates of Iowa State that died in various wars. There is a low, eerie moan that can constantly be heard in this hall. No one can figure out any logical reasons for this moan (and the college is flooded with engineering and architectural majors). Rumor has it that the moan is the voice of the only woman to graduate from ISU and die in WWI.

Where I went to school in NY:

Baldwinsville - Whiskey Hollow - It is a 5 mile road with no street lights or houses. It is all forest. It is said that back in the old days devil worshipers and members of the KKK used to worship up there and kill children as sacrifices...it is said that if you drive down the road at night you can see the children walking and there is also a bloody blanket. it is a very eerie feeling.

Whiskey Hollow is known for crazy things happening, and I hear if you drive the whole length of the road and back at night something happens, like your car dies or something similar.

The site of one of the Syracuse RX-7 cruises, and one of vosko's videos:

Marcellus - 13 curves - On their wedding night, a bride and her groom got in a car accident. On a very dark night, it is said that you can see the bride walking along the road.

Hey Kelly, it's your favorite spot in Syracuse:

Syracuse - Western Lights - The area around western lights and the housing developments are considered to be an old Indian bury ground

I've never heard of this one:

F.S.U., Cawthon Hall Dormitory, Tallahassee, Florida.

According to a story once printed in the F.S.U. newspaper, a freak storm took the life of a female coed while she was sunbathing in 1949. Since that time students who stay in her old room complain of poltergeist activity, unexplainable sounds, and the feeling that they were not alone.

They also talk about an old mental institution, called Sunland or Sunnyland. It's a freaky-lookin place. The city hasn't torn it down because it has asbestos in it, and it costs less to leave it there than to demolish it properly.

During the summer I stayed at one of the most haunted buildings in Canada, LOL! It's called meritt house, and as of right now, and last summer, its been undergoing a huge restoration project. This house is absolutely beautiful and its gigantic. Even in late june, this house on the inside is freezing! Well its old, and theres no heating, but its at least 10-12 degrees cooler on the inside than it is on the outside. Thats understandable though, its huge and is made of huge slabs of square rock and mortar. Didnt see any ghosts or goblins or anything, and neither had the guy in charge of the resto. He hasnt stayed there overnight as far as I know, but he did feel a type of eerie aura in the house...a type of built up energy. The place was used as an insane asylum for a while, than as a hospital for the sick and than was abandoned. Theres quite a bit of SWEET hidden passages through the place.
