Hats off to Pineapple Racing
#1
Hey I just wanted to give Props to Rob @ Pineapple Racing.
Trying to get my car prepped for it's 1st 1/4 mile run with my new engine and needed Exhaust Gasket. I called Pineapple Racing (it's local to me). Normally they don't deal with customers on Fridays, but made himeself available to sell me the gasket I needed. As always Rob also had some great advise as well.
Thanks, Pineapple Racing.

As for my Ride, Took the wife out last night and scared the crap out of her. The thing feels wicked fast. Very light (2200 lbs). I'm pretty sure I need some slicks as it will spin at will the 225/50/15's on the rear end of this thing, which also have a mini-spool in the rearend (locking the axles together). Traction is going to be a problem. I can't do slicks until I deal with something to keep the front end down (wheelie bars). So I probably won't do a full 1/4 mile run, just a shake down and lots of datalogging. I've got a Haltech and a Wideband connected with a laptop strapped to the dash. Not going to run any Nitrous... and will probably leave the bottle at home so I'm not tempted.
Also going to trailer the car to the track. (40 miles away).
If anyone is @ PIR (Portland International Raceway) on Saturday July 18th, Come by and say HI
