Oh yeah thats right, I got beat by a honda civic. It had stickers, a big fat *** wing, fart can exhaust, and i'm sure an intake under the hood too. It was kind of disturbing at first to see him pass me, but then I realized I was in my austin mini cooper and this guy actually raced a mini cooper. So guess what this means? I'm modifying the mini to get sweet revenge on any punk *** kid in a civic trying to race my mini. I'm gona do some exhaust mods and maybe some intake mods as well, bump it up to around 90-100hp. That should give me a slight edge on those nasty modified civics.

Let me add i've never been beaten in a street race since i've owned my fd, going on 3 years now. So it was kind of sad to lose to a civic. At least the rx7 hasn't lost yet.

When I saw the title, I thought you meant in your FD, and I honestly thought to myself:

*in talking goat voice* "You're bullshitting me, right?"

Haha, thought i'd fool you guys :bigok: There is a buddy of mine who made a little over 400fwhp in a honda civic, we raced a handfull of times and I was able to squeze out the victor. But hell, he made more hp than me, luckily for me the rx7 is lighter.

He had a 97 or 98, and I believe they are a few hundred pounds heavier. We set up a race at a concrete plant, had the 1/4 mile marked off and everything, also raced a damn fast 300zx. My biggest margin was about 4 lengths, others were about a length or two but thats with him getting me off the line and me playing catch up. Which is another reason why I think my dyno numbers were low, cause his sheet said he was over 400fwhp, I can't remember the exact number now, and I only made 365rwhp.

I don't think the mini will be that loud though, i'll be keeping the cat and this other box thing attached to the catback. It just opens the exhaust up to a 1.75" pipe and eliminates another box of some sort. These damn british exhaust are really confusing, i've had to do all sorts of research to figure out their teminology.

I just lost to an Accord turbo driven by a MILF. I almost **** in my pants when I heard her BOV. Read my thread in the kills section. I'm not proud, but I was driving a 98 Cobra so go figure
