so, matt (baller520) and i are going to the navasota 1/8 mile raceway tonight. we are going with the A&M Sports car club, and we both have approximately the same mods (mine are listed in the link in my sig, i'll get his web page link later).

i know what time i ran two months ago when i broke my front diff mount, i'm seeing if yall can guess what we'll run -- times and trap speed. i know he's faster (better driver/more experience, higher boost), but if i can get a good launch without too much wheel speed, i might be able to get a few really good times in. i need to work on slipping the clutch. i get too nervous, over rev, and burn up my clutch.

more or less, our mods are as follows:

we both have:

3" dp and mp

2 1/2 catback

FCD

he has:

TID mod

walbro 255

MBC

i have:

street port

CAI (it's like 45 deg out here at night)

hopefully we can take down a few domestics tonight. most of the guys in the SCC have LS1's and V8 fords.

i'll take some good pics, we'll do our best to represent the rotary community.

17" rims, the tires are low profile street tires

i hit 6 psi at around 4K rpm

i creep up to 9-10 psi from 5K - redline for the first 3 gears

matt is the same, only he hits 8 psi ealier b/c of his MBC

i think matt creeps up to 11 psi or so, but he just ported his wastegate, so that might be lower.

See I wasn't that far off

They must be half decent tires if they hook up in 1st.
