Its prob because all the home owners in FL are pissed. Isnt the property taxes real high in FL because there is no income tax??? That means that property owners are paying for everything and non prop owners that have apt or what ever dont pay hardley any tax for anything.
If i was a property owner in FL I would be pissed cause if they went to a income tax there would be much more people to share the tax making it much cheaper.
BTW - I dont know spacifically what your talking about cause I havent heard of the fight I'm just throwing out some .02

I dont really know what the prop tax is in FL but I've heard its pretty high compared to most states since they have no income tax in FL....they have to make $ somehow. It just kinda sucks that the prop owners have to pay for everything.
What is the prob tax % in Long Island???
