So in the span of about 5 days I've looked at 3 different FDs.
All 3 of them being 93 VRs.
One guy is asking $18,900 for a car with 26,000 original miles on it. Typical 93 paint fading and chipping and not a mod done on the car. He wont budge an inch on his price.
Next guy has a car with 73k on the odo, original engine, paint chips, fading, and a slew of dents. Its only mod is a boost gauge and it also has a horrible crack on the front right headlight cover. He wants 13k for it and wont budge either.
The last dude had what appeared to be a nice car online. He forgot to list whether it was an auto or manual so I make sure I ask him before I go look at it. He assures me its a manual tranny. Has 18" Konig wheels, "full exhaust", and couple of other minor mods. Has 73k on the chassis, about 8k on a new motor. Sinful7 and I go look at the car. Its a ******* automatic, car looks like it has had paint touch ups here and there all over the car. His "full-exhaust" setup is a can welded to the stock exhaust. And hes unflexible at $14,000. I guess this car was decent, but I was pissed that I was lied to about the transmission.
Is it just me or is the FD market in Colorado a bit pricey for what the cars have to offer?

Agreed, I was referring to the fact it had a new engine, and a decent body.

The guy that wants 18.9k is ******* dreaming!!! Look up on KBB on the price for the car. If you wave 17k in his face he would be stupid not too budge.

a car is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it
not many actually get sold for 17 unless they are in outstanding condition, most sell for 10-14
what was the guy's response when you asked him why he lied to you about the tranny?
