i'm thoroughly enjoying the car. 600 miles to go. idle is a little weird now though. guess its part of breaking it in. idle is a little lumpy again. no big deal. still needs tons of tuning

welcome to haltech , i need to tune mine too. the only cool part is i have a used motor, so it sees boost (all 5psi of it...)

i had the idle perfect, nice and even then i got off the highway, brap brap brap brap. i mean it idles fine just lumpy. i tried messing with a couple things still lumpy. i hopefully will be able to dyno tune the car next week then get on boost more than 2-5 psi of it :bigok:

imo, getting the car to start hot and cold and idle right is the hardest part of the tuning. i've been lucky with mine, the maps are close enough right there, and i have that extra rotor, which helps a lot

i got it idling good within a few minutes. it's getting about 14" of vacuum right now at idle. i think the problem is its finally starting to get everything seated.... i guess another few hundred more miles and it will only get better

yup, you should see your vacuum go up some more and it will start better too.
