Engine first time start?

When I start up my FD for the first time in the day what should I do. On atkins rotary they recommend you start the engine and peak the throtle then shut it off so that the oil seeps in, then after about a minute restart and drive lightly untill normal operating temperature is reached? Is this the right thing to do?

all you really need to do is make sure the aws doesn't come on (rev to 3k) like vosko said its a mazda...

he has a powerFC he doesn't have to blip the throttle :P

apexi power FC engine computer. the 3k rpm warmup is from the ecu. the PFC gets rid of it
