RX8 Is a ******* jokes. When you do have great ideas the R&D must last as long as an afternoon Karaoke & Sake hour.
A RX7 has to have the power and performance to surpass the new Mangum station wagon, the new AMC Jeep Cherokee and be in the class of a new ZO6 pumping out over 500 and ...more with a chip and exhaust.
Build on the RX7 FD platform and new style Corvette rather than the art deco RX8 or Chrysler Crossfire. Gas should be good when parked. Dollar for (HP)& performance should be what every highschooler gets with the SRT4!
Putting it in the high 40's with family car performance, tow truck gas mileage and reliability of plastic wine opener is a recipe for American laughter.
Anything less will only make the FD problems look like a brainstorm.

and there you have it Mazda- build us another RX-7, figure you can sell it for like $55000, im sure alot of people will buy them and they will be a even greater success here in the states then the FD!

I think an rx7 should be like the size of the new MX5 with a hard top and an N/A 3 rotor renesis.
But, to get back on topic, I think some mazda people check in here and other forums. Especially when new cars or concepts are built.
