my guess is a 4th car, the one that did the damage is missing.
-the car somes along and NAILS car 2, causing LOTS of damage and hitting the explorer in the process.
-then to get away backs up and nails the driver rear of car 1.
-still in a haze begins to drive away and the car wont steer well so they just plow car 3 up the curb until they cant go any more.
-backup again and drive away.
the monte just doesnt have enough damage to have been the car doing the damage to the other 3 vehicles.

I am subscribing to the theory of the Olds being the culprit, as the scrape marks seem to point in it's direction (read the explanation in the 2nd page of the post) and it's the only car that suffered damage on oppisite sides of the others and is parked differently like it had been moved......that's suspicious enough for me to think it was that car, and his theory is pretty solid, now if it REALLY was that guy, i dunno, i guess we'll have to wait and see...

I believe that the brown Buick was hit, also wrecked the Explorer. Then the black Buick was hit when reversing, and then the red Monte was pushed over the curb once the vehicle (large truck?) was going forward again. There are a million theories, and a million ways to prove them wrong though. And we're probably never going to know for sure what happened.
