Daily Driver
#1
I need to get a daily driver that is better on gas, so i can sell my money pit stealth. I want to spend (ok i dont WANT too) around 10k, and i want new. First thing that came to mind is the Hyundai Accent. Its good on gas, ~9k new, and its fairly comfortable. Also good on insurance.
My other thought is the Cobalt, but its a new deal and im leary of the "trial" years if you know what i mean. Any suggestions on other cars or these cars?

Not really. It is a replacement/successor to the Cavalier, however It's a new design, new parts etc. So it still has a higher risk for stupid recalls and problems its first year out....I'd assume. Not a big deal though either case.
$10k for a NEW car? Not even the cobalt comes below $10k if I am not mistaken.
~$13-15k I'd go for a Scion TC. Looks better than the ones you mentioned, and it's basically a Toyota, or a non turbo 1rst gen DSM.

Wow. Well then you'll never, ever need to read any of my posts again.
I prefer to spend $10-13k wisely than to throw it out the window to a POS American car that is at the bottom of the barrel.
My Sisters NEW Cavalier, degraded from "New" condition to worse than my 91 Integra in about 2 years. Enjoy!
