Custom Arm Rest For A Fc?

me and my friend want to start messing with fiberglass and i was thinking about making a new armrest unit(the whole thing) kinda making it more study and functional like a dang cupholder



has anyone made a custom armrest andif you have how did it turn out



i will post a concept drawing later(i am not a artist so it will be a sketch)

this has really interested me for awhile. If you come up with something, I'd like to have one. My stock console broke into a million pieces, and I like the added room. But I would like an armrest/cupholder/holder for mirror controls, but slightly slimmer than stock, if that makes sense. I even thought of making one out of wood, and someone suggested to me ABS plastic.

it is going to have the armrest i am not sure about a storage spot i couls incorperate something like this i would like a cup holder and i would have a spot for the mirror control

sounds cool. If I wanted storage, I'd buy a sedan.

so some things we want in these would be



armrest(duh)

cupholder

and mirror controls

sounds good to me! we don't need no stinkin' coin holder!

maybe empty spots for if someone wants to add switches for accessories later? I don't know, but it seems to me that a lot of turbo cars have extra switches and stuff.

Materials:



1 - 2 pillows of your choice.

4 - 6 feet of masking tape.

1 Scissor for cutting tape.

1 Beer Can of your choice.



Instructions:



1. Put pillow on center console area.

2. Put masking tape on pillow and center console area to hold pillow down.

3. Cut end of tape with scissor.

4. Drink the beer.
