I need to copy all of my DVDs so that I won't get so pissed off when my roommates leave them lying around. What's the best inexpensive software to use for this, and which format of DVD should I use?

I agree, dvdxcopy is the better software I've used. Very simple but the problem is you can only run 1 instance at a time otherwise it messes up.

ie. if you have 1 dvd burner, 1 regular dvd drive and you try to read a new dvd while you're burning an instance of the old one, it'll mess up.

I've heard a lot of good things about that software. What versions are you guys running? Is Express good enough or should I go for a higher version?

Oh yeah... good idea to include the version number eh?

I have the express 3.5 version... I used a crack to get it so I couldn't get a higher version.

DVDto1 is the best way to copy a DVD, regardless of format (DVD-9,etc.).

I'll post a link

Why waste the money? Just kill your roommates.

I had forgot to mention another drawback of the program. Unless you get the gold version or download it from kazaa or something, you won't be able to copy the DVD with all it's features and stuff. ie. you'll only get the movie and nothing more...
