i had a black hook on my white GXL for a while, and alot of people actually thought i had a carbon fiber hood from far away, or that i should just keep the black hood cause it looked pretty good...

if the hood isnt that expensive for a real CF hood, ill get one, they dont weigh ****.

I found a place that will custom make a carbon fiber or fiberglass hood for your car. I'm sure that they cost a lot of $$$. They make a real cool ones for the FD.

Custom hoods.

I've got a nice big ding right in the center of it, and of course the paint chipped off that spot. But if I do get a better looking hood, I'll hold on to my aluminum hood too.
