I need my passport just to get into the States sometimes.
I once went without it and when I was coming back they asked for proof of Canadian citizenship. Only then did I realize that I'd left my Canadian ID in Canada... so I said to the guy "Would spelling 'Saskatchewan' or humming an Anne Murray song do?"
He let me in.
