Is it worth it to buy the nice remote radar detector system (windows are tinted) with laser shifting or should I stick with another standard 8500/V1?

 

Don't use them at all... I've been busted even while using radar detectors, its called using their eyes to tell ur your speeding....

 

Have you seen hos Phazers?? I think I saw them in newsweek or popular mechanics. they make your car invisible to their radars!! They are like $250 but they will pay for your ticket if you get one so I guess it is worth it. I plan on getting one when I can afford it.

 

I seen that, if i was gonna get another radar det, thats one I would get.

i have a V1 ... i like it!

 

V1 is the best. Never failed me. I got my sister the Passport 8500 for xmas. Haven't gotten a chance to use it much. Seams to be less sensitive than the v1.

 

What do you mean by nice remote system? Something like the Escort SR1 that installs into the car?
