Well.. its about time to get a new one.. BUT it has been good to me.. its a dell inspiron 5100 .. We got drunk the other night.. and it was dropped and the usb connectors broke.. I opened it up and it looks like i can just replace the usb hub thingy on the board, just need to resolder it if i get a new one.. Anyone know where to get replacement parts? or do i have to go through dell?

Too bad my warranty Just ran out.. lol.. but it would be cool to be able to get the thing fixed.. If i can I will reformat it and give it to my mom for the house in Nicaragua.. so any links or leads on where to get the hub thingy..? ill upload a pic in a bit..

i arent going to be able to buy new dell parts, especially something like that. laptops arent all that configurable with things like that.

I need to repair the power inlet on an Acer (the centre pin broke off) Soldered directly to the main board, $800 or have a go with the soldering iron.........
