I guess Scott thought walmart was being nice when they dropped the price of the players, just to say a few months later
"oh by the way, we are not stocking our shelves with hd-dvd movies anymore"
Walmart ***** people over AGAIN!

I think they'll be sub 200 by xmas, but they are going to have to be cheaper then that to convince people to buy blue ray over regular dvd. I didnt even start to look at hd-dvd until they went sub 100 and it was a deal.
Also, I will wait as of right now, the people who busted out and bought the blue ray 1.0 cant upgrade to the lastest (with the exception of the playstation) not to mention the early blue ray players have been full of issues.

On a side note, rumor has it, MS is releasing a blue ray revision for the xbox as early as march 08...
I find that hard to believe considering blue ray is their largest competitors format, but I guess it's possible. sony and m$ dont get along all that well

sony and microsoft could fall off the face of the earth tomorrow and i wouldn't miss either. sony used to make decent stuff for a decent price, now they make **** products at rediculous prices and try bully consumers into buying it.
**** them both
