Went out today to drive my '86 to the post office. Nasty sound backing up, then it stopped! Nasty sound going forward, than it stopped! Got out looked at all of drive train, nothing! Thinking, my trannys goung out, my dif is going out, my drivelines going to drop out!

Got to the post office and on leaving got the same noise! Well I got out and looked again! This time I noticed that there were rocks on top of my brake rotors just by were the pads are at!! My three year old son desided that that was a good place to put rocks! Wow! easy fix, but what a scare! The noise was a big money noise.

make sure you tell him that the intercooler in the kelmark is not an internal water cooler.

No damage, but it sure had me going, it sounded like it was going to cost big $$$. Man, I pictured chunks of gears or pieces of U-joints all over the place.

Wow...talk about a major scare!

That reminds me of a time a guy I work with (well, I thought it was him...it was actually the boss' daughter) put voting signs on my back window of my MX-6, so I rolled them up and put them in his wheel-wells. He thought his brakes were dragging the whole way home.
