Best Pda?
#1
Shopping around for a PDA.
I have my eyes set on the viewsonic V35.
ANy other suggestions or commetns?
other ones i'm thinking of are:
Sony Clie PEGSJ33
PEGSJ22
Palm Tungsten T and T2
MOst important feaures i'm after are: High res colro screen, speed, mp3 playback. The rason why i like the viewsonic is the mircosoft OS system and it's ability to use standard memory cards rather then teh sony memory sticks.
Vosko. I know u know a lot. chime in!

the BEST os for any pda is the pocket pc 2002, it is most compatable with your desktop or laptop.
id get an hp/compaq because the designs never dies and all of the add ons from an old device can still be used with the new one.
id say go with the ipaq 3955, mms and a sleeve for 30$ for compact flash. and a 64k color screen is AWESOME, as well as 400mhz processor.... ive had mine for a while and it works great, and sure as hell beats the palm platform

The viewsonic i'm looking at is 300 Mhz intel Xscale. With Pocket PC 2002 OS from micorosoft.
64 megs of internal ram. Super thin, super light.
Secure digital memory slot. 65000 colors
The current offering of IPAQ is the HPH2215. Compaq no longer exists after HP bought them out.
THe hph2215 is a bit more expensive (200 dollars more). However it has built in slots for both SD and Flash memory cards. And also has Bluetooh and built in wireless 802.11.

best idea for you...
go to best buy and buy a hp/compaq or viewsonic (i know they sell a few )
for future upgrading and protection of your investment, get the protection plan. for like 30 extra
when your model is absolete, take out the screws for the back panel and unplug the li-ion battery from the main board, then put it back together.
go to best buy and get a brand new model... i dunno if this is legal but it has worked for me. the protection plan is more like investing 500 in best buy and having that investment for 3 years...
the x scale processors are great compared to the old strong arm ones and all. id go with pocket pc os all the way. no matter where and how you buy it.
