Back in San Jose!
#1
Well we are unfortunely back in san jose and headed norte. So the questions is are we moving or wut!
Well we put an offer in on a 3 house compound on 4 lots, it's got 2 3 bedroom houses, one 1 bedroom 1 bath cabina.
Deal should go through no worries, so I suppose I will be going back and forth for the next couple of months, we close on the 12th of may and take possession 60 days later.
I believe there is high speed internet available there, if not it's just around the corner. Its about 225 meters off the beach and completely fenced.
I'll get the pics up when I get back. We\ll be in Virgina for the rest of the week.
Now i gotta get my fuggin residency goin.

hey hey Phins.. you sure are a busy man
Indeed, this was anything BUT a vacation, we started off with a 2 days seminar by the "association or residence in costa rica", then we drove to the other side of this beatiful country and house shopped for 4 days, fun fun. Was up at 9am at the latest every day.
A little stressfull for sure, gotta a lot of things on my plate to pull this one off, i will be happy with pull off the end of 2006 as expatriated americans it will take 4 months once everything is submitted to get residency, then 3 years for permanent residency.
Already made some gringo friends and loved meeting some of the "ticos" great people with great values.

i will say this, in mexico they have something called the "mexican minute" which is 15 or 20 mins long, my best guess on the tico minute is 2 or 3 days, it happens when it happens and no one stresses it!
