well, the night started out real slow since the track was soooo cold. no one could get under 9.5 sec. i ran 6 times and my best was 9.5 sec @ 77 mph.

then, i parked my car b/c a vacuum hose kept popping off at 11 psi in 3rd (fixed with a zip tie )

then, a drag-only camero that was running low 6's lined up, revved, and POP, the rear axle broke and his wheels shoved up under his car as the chassis was bouncing around. it was the coolest thing ever. so, the rednecks driving it didn't have a floor jack or a wench on their trailer, so that shut down the right lane for like 45 min.

that ended up being good, b/c so many people were running on the left lane that it heated up, and we were sticking good. earlier, i was spinning all the way through 2nd and into 3rd.

i ended up getting 9.25 sec @ 81.6 mph.

the trap speed is about 3.5 quicker than last time...must have been the cold air (my CAI is too awesome!) i was creeping up to 11 psi and getting worried about detonation in 3rd, so i had to let up a little bit. i think that hurt me, along with my crappy launches.

matt ended up getting a 9.12 @ 80.4 mph.

we did better than a lot of cars out there. our launches were slow, but when we got spooled up, we pulled past most cars (civics, mustangs, trans am, mazdaspeed protege, tundra, el camino) out there. matt shot major flames, i shot a few flames, EAT THAT RUSTANGS!!!

wrong, this post is about me shooting flames and the camaro breaking it's axle. that's a general discussion for car guys.

the fact that i drag raced, got a few kills, and i mentioned the times recorded in this post is accidental.
