i'd say no. It's FWD, and if its the grocery getter, you probably have plans on a sports car ride...spend money on the RWD car...not the max

He now has an S13 with SR20 (almost in) wheels, coilovers, a GT 25R (bolted on needs to go in) and guess what?



IT LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE ALL THE OTHER S13's IN HIS DRIVEWAY.

handling power on a stock block and having the capacity to rev to higher limits are 2 completely different things. Do some research.. and just for future reference... how many supra owners do you know running 800 horses on a STOCK block revving past 9K? I mean if you do you shouldn't have any trouble validating your theory

I'm thinking you missed my point entirely.. 2JZs don't spin past 10K, RB26's do. Toyota and Nissan both make good motors, but 2JZs aren't made to rev to atmospheric levels, RB's can.. Thats all I'm saying... and if you want to get on the issue of Tuner cars.. Top Secret put a RB26DETT into a Supra and tossed out the 2JZGTE. if this motor is so badass, why would you replace it with a so called inferior motor.

IMO, I still believe the 2JZ is stronger. I think we need JT to come in here and debate this since he's in Japan and experiences RB26s on a daily basis. I've heard on many occasions how weak the RB block is...
