Push the thieves in Washington DC for a 10% flat income tax and you would have more money to spend on the good things in life!(rotary cars!!) Sit down and figure out what you get for over 40% taxes that are taken from you.(federal income tax, state income tax, federal gas tax, state gas tax, car tab tax, property tax, local sales tax, etc, etc, etc,!)

Enron paid no tax(in fact got back $$$$$$$). Boeing doesn't pay tax on the airplanes it sells, you think microsoft pays any tax(NOT!)

Don't you just love paying for your congressman to fly to sunny lands on a fact finding trip!(NOT!) I've seen this first hand when I went to the US embassy in Singapore for help, but they couldn't be bothered as there was a congressman there to stroke!

Here's my philosophy. Claim 9 deductions, they don't audit that. Then at tax time you owe them $$$. In other words they don't have your $$ for the whole year. Think about it.

Those of you who are getting $ back, what are you going to spend it on? I'm going to use it to get my 9.5# flywheel/clutch from SR.

If you plan on doing a turbo conversion then you won't be able to use that clutch/flywheel combo with the TII transmission.
Well, first, I need to swap out my tranny for a TII. My tranny is a piece of ****, nice and crunchy goin' into 2nd, and sometimes into 3rd. :frown: While I am doing that I am going to go with (of course) TII driveline, rear end (wanting 4.30 in it), and any minor **** I need to do the swap, like the starter? Then, when I get the $ I am going to get the TII engine, Haltech, ect.

But right now I'm pissed at my car! It is leaking like a **** and starting to stink, just turned over 135,000 mi :frown:, smokes bad (sometimes), ect. I'm thinking about selling her :frown:, and finding a TurboII.
I was assuming you were going to get the clutch/flywheel combo for an NA. What's leaking, your exhaust?
My f**king top! :madgo: I did what you said a while ago, getting foam weather stripping and put it on the areas that it leaks, and it worked for a while, but here it ******* rains NON-STOP :madgo: and the water ruined the adhesive on the ****. :madgo: So now my top leaks worse than before. :madgo: :madgo:

But also, about once a week, when I first start my car up that day it smokes bad! And it doesn't stop smoking untill I get to my work (about a 10 min. drive) and turn my car off. The cloud of smoke is nice and white. And it smokes if my rpms get too high too, only it does that all the time. Like if I were to be driving and kept the rpms at 5500+ my car will just blow thick clouds of white smoke untill I get my rpms lower. It does that too in between gears when I am revving the hell out of it. I'm not losing any coolant (that I can tell) I seem to go through oil a little faster than I should, but not too bad. Any ideas what the smoke it from?

I was thinking maybe a coolant seal, but I'm not losing any coolant.
The weatherstripping always goes bad after a while. So you need to keep replacing it, unless you put some glue on the back.

Maybe your PCV valve(or whatever it's called on our cars) is bad? How does the car run?

Ken
I've been doing that for a while, but I claim 12 dependents. People are usually very surprised when I do it.

If we pay fewer taxes then how are we going to give money away to anyone who wants some? :sigh:

Nice smooth idle at about 800-900rpm (it was lower, but after I did the TB mod it rose up about 100 rpm). Other than the smoke it runs fine. It does have a slight case of the 3800 rpm hesitation, but not too bad.

Have you added the legal exhaust yet?

I've always wanted to try that full dual exhaust on an NA< but the price always scares me away. I was thinking of making one myself.
