Anyone broken a foot?

To make a long story short.. A horse stepped on my right foot then shifted all his weight to that leg and i heard a few to many crunches. Being the genious i am i tried to yank my foot but couldnt budge it til the sound of agony spooked the horse. What i know is that i broke 4 toes(only the big toe was spared) and have atleast slightly injured the foot somewhere to get a pain up to my ankle which then worsens the more i walk and put pressure on it. The toes being the worst pain i cant really decide how bad the foot is which leads me to beleive its not broken.. The toes are sensitive to any sort of touch leading me to be most certain of a break. However my question is what the hell would make me sure of what happened to the foot? And as i know you will all say a doctor could answer any question with the greatest of ease but i however am one of those sad fools who does not have ins. So who knows what a broken/fractured foot might feel like?

i broke three metatarcels on my foot. When it happened i thought i just sprained my **** real bad. After two days and the swelling only getting worse (though i didnt have TOO much pain) i went to get x-rays and they showed me the clean fractures.
Regardless if you have insurance or not, i would go get it checked out. I know someone who fell off a ladder, broke a few bones on their foot, rushed to the hospital only to be attended by some incompetent nurse that fucked his foot up even more....Its been 2years and just 10 months ago he was able to start walking with a walking stick. Prior to that he was on crutches/wheelchair. He made some money off the lawsuit, but he still can hardly walk...

Well last night brought me to make a decision. After working 5 hours i looked at my foot to see one of my toes changing colors like a mood ring on a pms'ing woman. Then shortly after the whole thing went numb with the only feeling a slight throbbing and tingly sensation. Its getting looked at soon!

Nothing like a little gangrene to get a man thinking logically.
