Damn, I remember that stuff! I haven't read the story yet, but I do remember reading an interview with him a few years ago. He was repentant and such. What really sucked was that he had a lot going for him, and then. . .it all went away due to one inconceivable incident.
I used to have a Gator Rogowski board, too. Damn. . .

Yea I heard rumors about it back in 92 or so but I just happened across that article today.
I never really heard the whole story.
I am from the old skool myself.
started in 87 and still find till to skate when it's warm enough and I am in the mood.

The link doesn't work for me Dave. Can someone explain this thing to me?
Well basically that First board was a board foa really famous Skater , Mark Rogowski. or "Gator"
Anyway he was extemely popular and sucessful in the 80's He made a ton of cash and was all over TV etc,
He was even in the Tom Petty video Free Falling.
Anyway. Near the end of his carrer in the early 90's he raped and murdered his ex-girlfriends best friend.
He is currently rightfully in prison.
It's just kinda twillight zone because this guy had everything going for him. He was super rich and famous at like 16.
Thats the jist of it.
I even had one of his decks when I was 12 or so.
Rember Vision Street Wear clothes?
He is the guy that made all that popular.
I think he also is the guy that made hip packs so popular in the late 80's \
