Yeah..this guy I met at the race track like 3 weeksago..said he had an 85 SE rear end....So after talking to alot of people about buying it and knowing how this shop is...I kinda had doubts...

So I finally go there today...The guy dont speak english...

So I had one of his friends translate for me ..hes selling the rear end...No chunk ..

he said it had no chunk...but for me to come back like 3 om and he will find one..so I know he was gonan try to give me a bullshit 390......

I looked undercar...the ****** did have a chunk....Give me an idea...

This guy has an GSLSE whole car he will sell it all to me for 200.$ with no motor or trans or chunk...or buy the rear end for 150.$

Well I do need new doors...and it does has leather seats...and power windows...

I can use the extra parts on my friends when he gets one...

Yeah I converted a Honda lover to a Mazda worshiper now...muwhahahah

Anyways ...should I fix the SE if i get it ?or Throw it all on my GS body? I have sun roof and every thing this SE has..besides the power set up on windows...

Anyone help me find a SE rear end plz...

well I am a ford man mainly but have a love for the RX7's... but onto the point..

We usually call them 7.5's or 8.8's or 9.0's but that is Ford rear ends...

So we call them Rear ends! or IRS or Solid axle or etc.....

We say rear for the whole assembly, differential for the differential, and gears for the ring and pinion. Local ordinances have dictated that chunk refer to a piece of a gear that comes out when you drain the fluid. I've seen both rears and transmissions blow chunks quite a few times. :P
