Corian costs as much as granite, actually they are the exact same price per foot, it doesn't hold up as well, it can scratch and gouge, of course their answer to that is refinishing.
The only thing that is "cheap" at this point is formica and it sucks if you plan on staying in the house.
I like the look of both granite and quartz, but all in all I like the granite best. Plus it's cool having something thousands of years old in your house!

Yea that's their selling point... however they don't mention how often you'll have to refinish it!
