I was over at a wrecking yard near my home today getting some parts for my 2nd gen RX7. There was a bunch of 1st gens there and I was just kind if lifting the hoods and looking around, when I lifted one hood and there was a 4 cyl engine. I have no idea what it was, but it looked like a single overhead cam engine/w trans. It looked like a fairly clean install job even though the car looked well used. Why would anyone want to put a 4 cyl in a RX7?

 

was it white? i think i recall seein an rx7, i think it was white, with a 3tc(i think) engine in it. my friend with a toyota showed it to me.

i have seen pics of rx7s converted to electric power running down the 1/4.

any good parts left on those cars.
