Here's a local guy going for a World record
DJ Martin Boss to set new Guinness World Record! www.DJMartinBoss.com
This World Record Event for the Longest Marathon DJ set will take place February 1st 2002 @ 2pm EST until February 4th @ 2pm EST at Vinyl Frontier (www.vinylf.com) in Orlando, Florida. This event will be
broadcasted live over the internet by Groovefactory (www.groovefactory.com) utilizing both audio and video which will be capable of broadcasting and
streaming 10,000 simultaneous streams. The promotion for this major event will be geared towards raising awareness about the voting process and
encouraging young people to get involved politically with respect to the electronic music community.
DJ Martin Boss of Orlando, FL will attempt the 72 hour record. With Martin’s vast talent and his powerful mixing skills, track selection, and knack for pleasing the crowds at clubs all over the country, Martin is quickly becoming a hot commodity in the world of electronic music. With
several large scale projects in the works, coupled with his ongoing studio production work, Martin is set to become the next household name in the genre of electronic music.
A little History:
At a young age Martin was fascinated by all the feats of strength and human endurance that were featured by Guinness. Unfortunately at that time he never really found anything that he excelled at on that kind of a
level. Over the years he developed an incredible passion for music that has grown and gotten him through many of life's dips and turns. As someone that has
survived many tragedies including two near death accidents, Martin has come away from these experiences with a strong desire to share his passion and
the positive energy he has gotten from Music with as many people as he can.
One day after being inspired by one of his favorite DJ's (Danny Tenaglia) long sets, he came up with this idea to make his childhood dream of being in the Guinness book a reality and to bring his passion and positive energy
to as many people as possible. He also wants to bring attention to the electronic music industry and to get people to take a more active role in the voting process. He feels more people need to stand up and defend
our rights in regards to when, where and how we want to listen to electronic dance music!
