Ok. Go to research tires for the dailey beater GXL. Decide on Nitto N-555 in 225/50/15. Order on tirerack.com. Next day get a phonecall from tirerack. Since they are not the stock OEM size they refused to sell them to me. I'll have to find the email from them later

can you order tires without telling them what car it's for?

or tell them it's for whatever car those tires are stock fit...could you do that?

When you actually purchase through the Tire Rack, there is an option near the end of the transaction for you to choose one of Tire Rack's reccommended installers. Then, you can either have the tires shipped to that shop, or you can still have them shipped to your home. If you have them shipped to that shop, just call them to make an appointment.

Tire Rack's preferred installer was actually where I had planned on going anyway. And my place only charges $10 per tire, plus alignment and anything else you have done.

I ordered my wheels and tires from tirerack for the fiero, they said something about them not fitting properly in a email but I told them I already have one fiero with this setup and it's fine, they didnt care after that and sent em right out. They're just trying to save time & money for the stupid customers that don't know what they are doing, however when I bought the wheels+tires was more than a year ago... maybe their policies have changed due to too many ricers buying **** that won't bolt onto their car and trying to send it back.
