this bolts onto the filter pedestal, correct? OE and aftermarket?

Yes, this screws down directly onto where your OEM filter would go. We were going to design it to bolt directly to the block, but found no added benefit from doing so.

cool cause i just bought eyecandys oil filter pedestal. and this would be a neat addition to the engine bay. unless i decide to re-relocate the battery to the stock position. which, i guess, brings a "good" question.



does it fit with SMIC and battery in the stock location?

if you're relocating your oil filter, you might as well, just use a sandwich adapter since you'll have more than enough room in there to put the sensors... thats an extra 60 bucks in your pocket

We recommend relocating the filter to just behind the drivers side headlight area- so battery relocation is highly recommended.

so youd either need to have relocated the battery or have a smaller one in place.
