Ok OK I know some people have pics, but I cant find mine hehe.

I will get some. It looks just like the F-CONV, only this one you can

tune yourself very easily. I believe its a piggy back. The commander

for it is coming out VERY soon. HKS wants me to get the word out.

Maybe we can do a GB on these. I dont know the price yet, but normal

price was about the same as the PFC and commander, but I dont know

with my discount and I dont know the final price since the AUTO SALON

price was just a proposed one

Let me know

Hi,

Do you think it's a better choice over the Apexi PFC?

It will only be for the FD I believe.

Better choice then the PFC??? Hummmmm YES, because if you ever need to check sensors, or run any other Diagnostics you can still do it since your original computer is still there. You cant do that with the PFC. You would have to change to the original (sucks) Granted if you didnt sell it humm

Easier to tune then the PFC, HKS says they went way out of their way to make it user friendly. They know more and more people want to do their own tunes and always keep changing them along with parts. So this way you can save the $$$$$ Im sure most of your guys in the states along with in Japan dont even tune your own PFC.. Its all good, but now we can for the computer morons like me hehe

Hey jason,

Correct me if I'm wrong. Does the F-CON V similar to the F-CON Pro? If so, isn't it true that only HKS PRO dealer can tune those? I haven't heard much on the F-CON V yet so I just want to learn more about its capability and tuneability.

The F-CON V and the PRO need to be done with software and professionals.

So they came out with the F-CON S, user friendly. HKS I dont think will ever

sell the comps in the US, hard to say. The F-CON V I hear over here is the best

but a pain in the butt to have tuned. Now the PFC is just ok, and easy to tune

so HKS found the medium. Easy to tune and a good comp. I cant wait to try

it out, they said sometime this month

This is from the HKS website.

HKS Pro Dealer custom F-CON S systems are available and tuned only through authorized HKS Pro Dealers. Each unit is specifically calibrated for an individual application and its modification level via the exclusive HKS Power Writer. By utilizing data from the duty cycle mapping and trace functions of the F-CON S and the use of a dynamometer, HKS Pro Dealers can develop custom programs for street and racing applications.

I guess I wasn't sure which F-CON you're refering to?? Maybe F-CON S (pre-programmed)?

I'm pretty sure that both the F-CON S (custom) and F-CON V can't be tune by an indivdual.
