OK the integrated chat is all but done, the only thing that is needs is your seal of approval and me to fork out the $40.00 for the chat applet. PLEASE take a look at it let me know what you think, you can go to your profile, add your chat room password and the size of the pop up once you have registered with the NICKSERV.



The IRC access can be obtained by using Mirc at: irc.newnet.net port 6667



Channel #nopistons



They are a huge irc network. I do recommend the java applet though.



OK that said, it is fully integrated into the forum , there is a small chat link in the upper right hand corner under the messenger.

Yea forgot to mention, everything is running great on the new applet, I have been testing it a bit so we moved from BETA 1 to RC1.

What skin are you using? It's not on the VB skin. Only the Silver Skin.

 

The VB skin hasn't been developed at all if you guys are using it you're missing out on a lot of features. I have brought the silver skin the furthest because it is the most widely used and has the most potential. It's a lot of work installing the hacks and when you are installing them on three skins it's tripple the work.



Anyhow, once we get it out of BETA I will probably upgrade the VB skin or just force everyone to use the silver skin LOL.

 

Oh yea for people with firewall issues you can access the chatroom via irc. just download mirc or trillian and you're in business.
