i keep getting emails saying that i subscribed to threads and someone replied. thats nice and all but i didnt subscribe to anything. sooooo um who what when where and why is this happenning and how do i make it stop.

If you notice in the quick reply there is a box that is checked, it says "track this topic", uncheck it when you use the quick reply and you won't be subscribed, some of need the topic replies to keep up, so it's needed.
You can unsubscribe from all the topics that you have already subscribed to in your "My Controls" area.

Can we make the default for that "no"? I'm here all of the damn time, so I don't need the emails.

Default is "unchecked" I'll get a stripped skin up for everyone that doesn't like this or that by the end of the week.
