My mechanic's side kick is selling his car.. it's a 1985 Mazda Rx-7... Street car non the less, but comes with transmission... 4.08 rear end lightweight driveshaft and Tokiko Shocks/struts..

I am going to put my engine (1986 N/A into that frame.. )

What all will i need to do the conversion? I know those cars are light.. and small, and that's why i would like to do it. I figure the FC's are too fat.. and heavy. Hell the 1st gens start at 2300 Lbs right?

I will use my FC chassis (engine coming out) for my Major T2 conversion. I am looking at a wrecked 88 AE 60 K on engine/tranny/rearend/ BUt car frame is totalled. 1200 BUCKS!!! putting that into the FC i have now.
