FD Throttle body into RE cosmo intake manifold
#1
So I ran into some clearance issue with my new hood and the cosmo throttle body elbow. It hits. I don't want to cut up the elbow or the hood.
I've heard that the FD TB can be used in the cosmo upper intake manifold but is not pretty, needs some modification. I also heard is bigger than the cosmo's TB.
Can any confirm and show me pics of such modification?
Thanks
Carlos

I am running a RE mani with REW TB. Had an adapter C&C machined as a spacer with bracket to hold cable. Works perfect.

I'm running a vented sexy style hood. The vents bend down more into the engine.
I'll take a picture when I come back sunday. I had the stock hood it would be ok but since i'm going vmount I got the hood.

Carlos-
Your current configuration should clear the hood- Does your new hood hang excessively low?
Good luck-
