13b Turbo Into 240sx

Well as the title says. I am wanting to put a 13b turbo into my 89 240sx coupe. Does anybody of of an article that list where I can get the conversion peices or a company I can purchase them from, and does anybody know if my current 5 speed can handle the 13b or should I get the original style tranny as well.

I highly doubt your going to find a kit to do this. More than likely you will have to custom fabricate mounts and such. Make it easy on yourself and use the 13BT 5 speed.

I agree with Mazdero, you'll have to custom make pretty much everything. It definetly can be done, there is a buddy of mine here in south FL that had that swap in his car at one time. Good luck with it and keep us updated with your progress.

yeah thats what I want to do. But I will probably leave the Stock intercooler in place and get a new carbon fiber hood with a scoop. Now I just need to find one. I can't wait untill my tax return gets here.

I'm thinking that it would probably be cheaper, if you just buy a Rx7 FC.

damn, i was just thinking about that too! i have a 240 with a crap'd out ka. and i didn't want to be like every 240 owner in my town and drop a sr motor in it. still, i'll be taking that project on once spring gets here.

YEP. I do. He went back to nissan, he now has a worked RB25 in there.
