A mate has just bought a Hachi and we wuz gonna do a 13Bt but then got a 3S-GTE from a GT4 at a good price so are going that way now.

Rotary plan was to use the Mazda box (tight fit in the tunnel but it does go). Now we need a W57 Yota box

At the rear a B -series Mazda commercial diff is still our choice, ***** are tough with 31 spline axles and a full hemisphere. Not a job for the faint-hearted though, will need converting to discs, 5 link and suitable PCD!

if you're putting a rotary in a car, as long as you have clearance in the tunnel, its always easier to use the rotary tranny and get a custom drive shaft than try to adapt the car's original tranny to the rotary. I dunno much about ae86s, but i'm going to doubt the tranny would last very long behind 250+ hp anyway
