Need info on TEC 3 engine management syst !

I know that the TEC II has something in the WinTec software that has you type in your engine parameters to get a base map, but it doesn't do it for rotaries.
The TEC II does have a mode where you can type in A/F ratios at all of the various load/rpm points and the ECU will adjust the duty cycles, etc. according to the O2 sensor readings. It's usually not a good idea to run the car in that mode unless you trust your O2 sensor. :sigh:
To me the best feauture of the TEC 3 is the remote coils. The TEC II has the coils built into the ECU. So you have to mount the whole thing under the hood, unless you want 10 ft. spark plug wires.

If you download the Wintec 2 software I can send you a map to play with. You can see how that mode works. I was told by somebody who used to work at Electromotive that the main differences between the TEC 2 and TEC 3 will be the remote coils and more aux outputs. Try http://www.electromotive-inc.com/wintec.htm for the software.

That's one of the first questions I had. kPa stands for kilo pascals. 100 kPa=1bar. Check out http://www.megaconverter.com/Mega2/index.html for unit conversion questions.
One thing, what is kPa? tell me all about it
