Has anyone used the megasquirt

I did. There is alot you have to learn. It's cheaper than other aftermarket ECUs because you have to do a lot of it for yourself.
Take me for example. I was the first person to MegaSquirt a 20B. I had to McGyver a bunch of stuff to make it work, and I did all this without an understanding of tuning EFI. I'm still lacking in that department and it's only running marginally. A 20B is supposed to be one of Mazda's smoothest running engines ever, as it was originally in a high end luxury sedan. Mine, with the MS, is rough running at the moment. It needs to be tuned and I've got a lot more to learn.
Aside from the above, the hardware part of the project wasn't all that difficult. It's pretty much straight forward, and the instructions are pretty good. As a whole, it's time consuming if you've never done anything like this before. I had soldered little projects before, but nothing this complicated. If you know how to solder and follow instructions, you will probably do all right.

Who me? Not at the moment. I've gotta pull the engine out and put it in something else. Then I can get back to tuning.
That was actually directed at pretty much everyone else.

Sure, does anyone have a base map for a 88 turbo II, that would make my life a lot easier once the tuning starts.
