Competition Choices

CSCS
Sport Compact drag racing. Not many events scheduled (5), but still a good time. Choose your route wisely to TMP events, the police seem to think checkstops on the way to the track are a way to combat street racing?
SOLO Ontario
Autocrossing (SOLO II), and time trials. (Time Attack for the import magazine crowd , SOLO I for those that have been into it for a while.)
9 competition events and 3 schools scheduled for SOLO I, including a national championship event in the Montreal area.
10 regional events, 1 school event and a 3 day national championship event all scheduled for SOLO II.
Championship shootout event scheduled for the end of the year, pitting qualifiers from SOLO I vs SOLO II.

Also for those of you who are looking for something to do in the winter months CASC-OR runs Ice racing events in Minden. Also now that I look I forgot they also do road race events and enduros.
CASC-OR main page: CASC Ontario - Home
Here is a direct link to the Ice Racing
Here is one for the Road Race
I believe there is also a list somewhere on that site of all affiliated CASC clubs in Ontario. Find one near you and you will learn of all sorts of local events.
Personally I am a member of PMSC (Peterborough Motor Sports Club) we organize and run a few ice racing events a year and one solo2 a month in the summer. We also have navigational rallies on public roads and all sorts of diffrent events. We meet every second wednesday of the month and discuss our schedule and pitch in ideas to better it. Great way to get involved in motorsports and keep it off the streets.
