If you have a lift to put the car on the sub frame is fairly easy to lower to get enough clearance to get it out. I used the lift and then use tranny stands to lower the sub-frame and hold it in place. The difficulties in doing the oil pan are different depending on the resouces you can have available.

If you dont mind...could you give a step by step on this? I have a leaky oil pan also and would like to fix it in the spring. I dont have the resorcess but i may be able to find them. I would rather do it myself and learn, then pay for a shop.
