Water Temp. Gauges

Im gonna install a water temp gauge, since i dont trust the stock one. But i wanna know what temp range i should get? auto meter has one from 140-280 and another for 120-240. i know its not that much of a difference, but i would like to know which would be more suitable for an fd

Either one is just fine. 240 is cooking **** anyway... 280 and you need a friggin forensic scientist to figure out what the hell was under the hood...

you mean my 299* thermostat is too hot? no wonder the car never heats up...
