hi everybody,

my FD is not my daily driver and whenever I start it I get the cold start/high rpm warmup cycle...until about a month ago. Car is cold but starts okay, but rpm's go up to only 2k max maybe less, definitely not 3000. Car is stock. (Also, could be my imagination or completely unrelated, but car seems to lack power in 1st from stop position..recently also.)

my thanks for any ideas,

fritz

My car did that when it needed a new clutch.......Maybe you should look into that first.

have you checked the basic **** over.

Air filter

fuel filter

oil change

new plugs

etc...

Do that first.

That is not a definitive answer just advice.

That may not do **** to your problem and it may.

But since I don't know you yet thats my advice about a car I know knowing about other than it is stock.

If your car is up to par and properly serviced and your still having problems

let us know. .

Oh and they dont always rev up to 3k.

if you have it in 1st gear when you start it. It wont do that.

Alos if you gas it it wont do that .

Honestly I disabled the AWS crap anyway cause it's just wearing out your engine faster anyway..
