Want To Know About Maintenance

i just got my rx-7 and i want to know what to look out for. What should i do so it wont over heat, or basically break down. what are the main problems you guys have with yours?

Check & clean/replace spark plug regulary

check water levels check for leaks regulary

check oil and keep topped regulary. Change fuel filter around every 20k

Some of the rx7's I see coming in from Japan with say 40,000 mile mark some of them have waterpumps in not the best condition so I would say for added precaution you could get that changed every 30-40 k also.

Get a boost gauge fitted if you don't already have one and a aftermarket water temp gauge a sthe stock one is pretty useless until it's too late.

I think in the UK anyway the most common problems with fd's are boost related

needs usually a lot of patience to troubleshoot and resolve.

upgrade radiator, silicon hose kit ALL vacume lines .... and power fc w/ commander

that'll keep you safe for a while ahahahahahahhahahahahahhahahah
