In need of a little help.

Since october i have been toying with my fd. so far it stands at.



Stock port engine

Stock twins seq

Air pump removed

Air con removed

under drive pulleys

air intake

de cat

stock down pipe

cat back

trust fmic

apexi pfc

battery relocated to boot

grounding kit

stock fueling

The car is a jap import 93 type r

I think this is all the info.

My question is .Will my apexi need a remap for this lot or would you say the base map would run these mods ok. If not does anybody have a fd with the same spec who would be willing to let me examine there map

why not just dyno tune your car....

using someone elses map is risky imho....

how much psi are you plannin on runnin with your current setup..

 

You will prob. be ok, but I would get that thing tuned by someone that knows what they are doing, like Steve Kan. He tuned my car for $300 and it runs so much better than it did before. I have similar mods as you.

 

Stock boost to start with.

I presume my jap type r is the same as your r1. Gonna have to go easy on it and speak to some tuners here in the uk then. gulp....
