Strange Breakup/stumble
#1
Ok... Driving the car.
Drives fine and all... But soon as I start to make boost it breaks up really bad.. Kinda sounds like its choking or something.
I've checked all connections and whatnot, but HAVE NOT dune much monitoring of numbers.. I'm kinda scared to drive it.
Just wondering if anyone knows where I might start to look first to see if I have a problem.
Not sure of the duty cycles or anything like that.. But I can take it out again and try to get some data to work with.. Just sceered to break.
FWIW I loaded Check Westbrooks maps from the RX7club. A couple people looked at them briefly and said they looked fine and that the breakup is elsewhere. I highly doubt it's the ignition, but I guess (As trend has proven) it very well could be..

is the map set for your injectors? Think it is possible that the injectors are leaking? Jay had the same problem, his secondary injectors were leaking.

Not sure... However it's happening before the secondaries even come on line..
I was going to suggest maybe the secondaries were coming on and it was too much fuel right at that point.

9base3 I noticed you from the mid west. You are in luck there is a new shop that opened up out there called davinci motorsports. They actually sell there own turbo kit as well, I'm sure they could help you trouble shoot your issue.

You know, they might be.. That sure is what it feels like. I'm not used to the car in it's new form (lol) so I'm all over the place trying to monitor ****!
I'm taking it out some more later today so I can keep toying with it.
