Hey Folks! My '93 RX7 is running pretty well now thanks to your help.

I sometime have a fairly bad hesitation under acceleration at around 3200rpms especially under light throttle conditions. It's usually worst in 2nd gear.

I read in this month's Sports Compact Car Magazine that a common problem with the RX7 is a hesitation around 3000 rpms caused by a bad ground for the seconard injectors.

Could this be my problem? If so how do I fix it?

Thanks,

John

it willl never hurt to upgrafe any grounds to a bigger and more 'capable' wire, especiall if it involves the charging, ignition, or fuel system.

however, i was under the impression that the *new found* fix for the 3k hesitation was a fuel pump wiring problem, and by changing up the wires, this would help the problem, but i do not know what the *change* is, as i have forgotten....

theres a better wirteup here if you search, but there is a ground between the intake and firewall, the engine; bottom of the ac bracket, the fuse box bracket behind the battery. all of these need to be clean and tight

Thanks for the advice guys! I'll see what I can do... I'll try cleaning / improving the grounds first.

Thanks,

John

an extreme measure would just get a power FC.. it gets rid of that. sooo... in my case and in many others.. the pfc gets rid of that annoying FD hick-up. i dont know why.. or how.. but i dont think its ground related.
