rx7 store crate engine

RX7Store is a good company but I would think you could do a rebuild much cheaper. I would, personally, prefer to send my shortblock to RX7Store, Defined Autoworks, or another reputable rotary company for a rebuild and some upgrades and save a ton of money!
If you're adamant about having a brand new motor, I, personally, wouldn't hesitate to buy from RX7Store.

Why do you think a professionally rebuilt motor won't be a "good" motor? Just curious. I completely agree not to cheap out when you're talking motor build, but, in my opinion, if you use a reputable rebuilder you'll have a better motor (machine work, porting, etc). Just my $.02.

Yeah but not everyone is comfortable with that! LoL. I agree, though, and that's why my new FD has been on jack stands 4 of 5 weeks I've had it. >< HA
You can send your short block off to reputable places. Both RX7Store and Defined Autoworks are in Columbus (I'm about 1.5 hours south) so I guess I'm lucky, but that's not an uncommon practice, I wouldn't think.
Just suggestions! Ultimately it's your car and you have to do what you're comfortable with... If you do buy a crate motor, let me know what you do with your motor, though. :-)
